Yesterday. Today. Always.

For more than fifty years, Lexington Homes has been family-owned. That story continues today under Jeff Benach, as we keep building the homes and communities Chicagoland most wants to call home—in the city and the suburbs.

Our History

Since 1973, Lexington Homes has built over 42,000 homes in Chicagoland. We got started in Schaumburg and were an integral part of the great expansion of the northwest suburbs.

By the 80s, we became the largest home builder in Chicagoland, building countless communities from Naperville to Libertyville. That continued through the 90s when we expanded into the city within our second iteration, Concord Homes.

After being acquired by National homebuilder Lennar in the early 2000s, we reinvented our brand, relaunching again as Lexington Homes and focusing on smaller, more intimate communities closer to the city. We were, and still are the only privately owned multi-location residential developer building homes in both the city and suburbs.
